Material selection requirements: first, consider the concentration and specific gravity of sulfuric acid; second, consider the temperature; third, consider the grade of sulfuric acid used.
Dilute sulfuric acid is stored in polyethylene tanks. When the concentration is below 40%, the specific gravity is below 1.3, and the temperature is between -30 ºC and 60 ºC, polyethylene PE storage tanks (commonly known as full plastic tanks) produced according to our company's standards can be used. When the specific gravity is 1.4 or 1.5, the method of increasing the feeding amount to thicken the thickness of the tank wall or strengthening it with iron clamps can be used to make a full plastic tank. The all plastic storage tank is a mold product, and the size requirements can only be customized according to our company's standards. The thickness of the PE plastic layer can be increased according to customer requirements.
Reagent grade concentrated sulfuric acid is stored in steel lined PE tanks. A steel lined plastic storage tank is used when the concentration is 98% and the temperature is between -30 ºC and 90 ºC. Such as reagent grade concentrated sulfuric acid, battery sulfuric acid, analytical pure sulfuric acid, high-purity sulfuric acid, etc. Steel lined plastic storage tanks are non-standard products that can be produced according to our company's standards or customized according to customer requirements. The thickness of carbon steel is 6mm-14mm, and the thickness of PE layer is 12mm-20mm. Both thicknesses can be adjusted according to customer requirements. There are two types of steel lined plastic storage tanks: vertical and horizontal. Vertical: flat bottom flat cover, flat bottom round cover, flat bottom cone cover, round bottom round cover, cone cover cone bottom.
Horizontal: saddle type support. Size specifications: 0.5 cubic meters to 70 cubic meters
Industrial grade concentrated sulfuric acid is stored in carbon steel tanks. Concentration of 98%, no iron ion requirement, carbon steel (Q235) storage tank can be used. The thickness of carbon steel is 6mm-14mm. The model and specifications are the same as above.
