Structure and principle of crystallizer

Structure:
The crystallizer mainly consists of containers, filters, and control equipment, usually composed of cylindrical, elliptical, or spherical containers. The container is equipped with a filter screen, and the bottom is usually inclined to effectively discharge crystals. The filter can be of different shapes such as flat plates, frames, or scissors, and its size depends on the size of the crystallizer and the size of the crystals produced.
Principle:
The core principle of a crystallizer is to dissolve solids in liquid and then recrystallize them. The shape and size of crystals depend on factors such as solubility, temperature, flow rate, and filtration quality in the solution. Solubility is one of the most important factors controlling crystal shape and size. During the crystallization process, crystals and other impurities precipitate together. The filter of the crystallizer helps to separate pure crystals and impurities, and the shape, size, and quality of crystals can be controlled by appropriate filtration conditions.
