Acetic acid, also known as acetic acid (36% -38%) or glacial acetic acid (98%), with the chemical formula CH3COOH, is an organic monobasic acid and the main component of vinegar. Pure anhydrous acetic acid (glacial acetic acid) is a colorless hygroscopic solid with a freezing point of 16.6 ºC (62 ºF). After solidification, it becomes colorless crystals. Its aqueous solution is weakly acidic and highly corrosive, and steam has irritating effects on the eyes and nose. Our company produces two series of various types of chemical acetic acid storage tanks: 1. Non welded plastic (polyethylene acetic acid storage tank) storage and transportation equipment series: This series of products uses polyethylene (PE) as raw material and adopts a special process for one-time molding (rolling molding process). This kind of plastic storage tank does not use any additives or plastic fillers in production. It is completely made of polyethylene (LLPE, HDPE) materials. From the tank body to the material inlet and outlet, manhole, flange, etc., the tank is integrally formed without welding seams. Therefore, the tank also has the characteristics of no welding seams, no leakage, light weight, anti-aging, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, long service life, and compliance with health standards. The service life under natural conditions is longer. Special Reminder for Choosing Polyethylene Acetic Acid Storage Tanks: Due to the poor welding performance of polyethylene, the welding strength of polyethylene acetic acid storage tanks cannot meet the strength requirements for use. The inlet and outlet ports of post welding (screw method) and post welding (hot melt method) cannot meet the requirements of chemical non leakage, dripping, and leakage. Therefore, customers must identify whether the tank body, inlet, outlet, flange, manhole, etc. are one-time mold without welding joints when choosing chemical polyethylene storage tanks, fundamentally solving and reducing unnecessary leakage, dripping, and leakage problems. 2, Steel lined plastic storage tanks and reaction equipment series: Steel lined plastic (turtle shell lining - steel, mesh, plastic three in one) is one of the steel plastic composite series products. It is a process of welding steel mesh (turtle shell) onto the inner surface of a steel body, using polyethylene as the raw material and employing a rotary molding process (rotational molding technology) to form a single piece on the surface of the steel body. Due to the integration of the steel mesh (turtle shell) and polyethylene and the welding of the steel mesh to the inner surface of the steel body, it is difficult for polyethylene to detach from the inner surface of the steel body. Therefore, it is an ideal and practical anti-corrosion product. The inner lining surface of the product is flat, smooth, and sturdy. Compared with traditional steel lined plastic plate storage tanks and steel lined fiberglass storage tanks, it has better corrosion resistance, no leakage, no peeling, and long service life. It is an ideal storage and transportation container for transporting corrosive liquids and can be applied to automobile transportation tanks, pipelines, low-pressure tanks, vacuum tanks, reaction vessels, ion exchange columns, acid washing tanks, sedimentation tanks, neutralization tanks, electroplating tanks, acid washing tanks, etc. below 90 ºC.
