Continuous crystallizer is a device used for continuous production of crystalline products, widely used in industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, and food. According to the different working principles and structural characteristics of crystallizers, continuous crystallizers can be divided into the following categories:
1. Mixed crystallizer: A mixed crystallizer is a continuous crystallizer that crystallizes solutes by mixing two or more solutions. A mixed crystallizer usually consists of a mixing tank, crystallization tank, and filter. Mixed crystallizers are suitable for solutes with high solubility in mixed solutions.
2. Evaporative crystallizer: Evaporative crystallizer is a continuous crystallizer that crystallizes solutes by evaporating the solvent from the solution. Evaporative crystallizers generally consist of evaporators, crystallization tanks, and filters. Evaporative crystallizers are suitable for solutes with low solubility in solution.
3. Stirring crystallizer: Stirring crystallizer is a continuous crystallizer that crystallizes solutes from a solution by stirring it. The stirring crystallizer generally consists of a stirring tank, a crystallization tank, and a filter. Stirred crystallizers are suitable for solutes with high solubility in solution.
