Evaporative crystallizer is a commonly used separation technology equipment, mainly used to evaporate the solute from the solution to crystallize and precipitate, thereby achieving solute separation and purification. Widely used in fields such as chemical engineering, pharmaceuticals, food, metallurgy, etc., it has important industrial application value.
The main function is to heat the solution, evaporate the solute, and then cool and crystallize to obtain a pure solute. Its principle is to utilize the differences between solutes and solvents in the solution, and gradually saturate the solute by evaporating the solvent. The solute gradually crystallizes and precipitates as the solvent evaporates. Evaporative crystallizer usually consists of evaporator, crystallizer, and crystallization collector.
The selection and design of evaporation crystallizers need to consider multiple factors.
