Food falling film evaporator is a commonly used equipment in the food processing industry, mainly used to evaporate water from liquid food and make it concentrated. According to the different working principles and structural characteristics, food falling film evaporators can be divided into the following categories:
1. Multi effect falling film evaporator: A multi effect falling film evaporator is a high-efficiency evaporator that gradually evaporates water from food through the cascade operation of multiple effectors, achieving the purpose of concentration. The multi effect falling film evaporator has the characteristics of high evaporation efficiency and low energy consumption.
2. Single effect falling film evaporator: A single effect falling film evaporator is a relatively simple evaporator that performs evaporation operations through a single effector. Compared to multi effect falling film evaporators, single effect falling film evaporators have lower evaporation efficiency, but have a simple structure and lower cost.
3. Tubular falling film evaporator: Tubular falling film evaporator is a common type of evaporator, which is composed of many parallel pipes inside. Liquid food flows through the pipes and evaporates water through the heating of the pipe walls. The tubular falling film evaporator has the characteristics of compact structure and good heat conduction effect.
4. Vacuum falling film evaporator: A vacuum falling film evaporator is an evaporator that evaporates at low pressure. By reducing the pressure inside the evaporator, liquid food evaporates water at lower temperatures. Vacuum falling film evaporator is suitable for low-temperature treatment of food.
