Project Background
The 300000 tons/year polypropylene project of Anhui Tianda Petrochemical is located in Tongcheng Industrial Park, Tianchang City, Anhui Province, with a total investment of over 2 billion yuan. It adopts third-generation
polypropylene (ST-III) technology and aims to meet the market demand for high-end modified plastics, fibers, and films.
The project will be put into operation in the third quarter of 2023, and the annual output value is expected to exceed 3 billion yuan after reaching full capacity.

Technical Difficulties
-Deep removal of impurities: The raw material propylene contains sulfides and trace phenols, which need to be purified at the ppm level through an absorption alkali washing dual tower system; 
-Equipment scale adaptation: Large towers (diameter ≥ 4 meters) need to balance mass transfer efficiency and structural stability; 
-Automated control: It is necessary to match the DCS system to achieve precise control of parameters such as pH and flow rate.

-Adopting a stepped packing layout, the mass transfer area increases by 35%, and the absorption efficiency reaches 99.8%;

2. Alkali washing tower:

TRANSPORTATION
Given the substantial dimensions of our pressure vessels, which often exceed 20,000mm (787") x 3500mm (137") x 3500mm (137") or weigh more than 40T, transportation by truck is impractical. To overcome this, we partner with a nearby port. Initially, we transport the segmented devices via truck to the port. There, we expertly weld the pieces together, forming a complete unit. This full equipment is then shipped to the Shanghai port, ready for export across the seas.
