Product Description

A cryogenic pressure vessel is a device specially designed to store or transport media at very low temperatures (typically below -20°C, or even down to -196°C or lower) and at high pressures. These vessels are widely used in industrial, energy, medical and scientific research applications for storing and transporting liquefied gases (e.g. liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid hydrogen, liquefied natural gas, etc.).
Features of cryogenic pressure vessels
In order to minimize heat transfer, cryogenic pressure vessels are usually constructed with highly efficient adiabatic structures, 
Vacuum insulation: A vacuum layer is formed between the inner and outer walls to reduce heat transfer and convection.
Multi-Layer Insulation (MLI): The use of multiple layers of reflective materials reduces radiant heat transfer.
Foam insulation: In some applications, materials such as polyurethane foam are used for insulation.
Pressure Management:
Cryogenic liquids evaporate when heated, resulting in an increase in pressure. As a result, vessels need to be equipped with safety valves, rupture discs and pressure regulation systems to ensure that the pressure is within safe limits.
Structural design:
Vessels need to be able to withstand the thermal stresses and material shrinkage caused by low temperatures, while meeting the strength requirements of high pressure environments.
Common forms of construction include double-wall construction (inner chamber for cryogenic media storage and outer shell for support and insulation).
Safety features:
Equipped with monitoring equipment such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors and liquid level gauges.
Equipped with emergency shut-off valve and pressure relief device to prevent overpressure or leakage.
