Floating head tube heat exchanger is a common type of heat exchange equipment, mainly used in industries such as chemical, petroleum, and power. According to the structure and working characteristics, floating head tube heat exchangers can be divided into the following types:
1. Split flow floating head tube heat exchanger: In this type of heat exchanger, both the tube side fluid and the shell side fluid flow in the same direction. This design can maximize the thermal efficiency of the heat exchanger.
2. Reverse flow floating head tube heat exchanger: In this type of heat exchanger, the tube side fluid and shell side fluid flow in the opposite direction. This design can increase the temperature difference of the heat exchanger, thereby improving heat exchange efficiency.
3. Cross flow floating head tube heat exchanger: In this type of heat exchanger, the tube side fluid and shell side fluid flow in a vertical direction. This design can make the structure of the heat exchanger more compact, but the heat exchange efficiency is relatively low.
4. Multi program floating head tube heat exchanger: This type of heat exchanger can be equipped with multiple tube and shell sides as needed to meet different heat exchange needs.
