The selection of tower kettle coolers should be comprehensively considered based on specific usage scenarios, medium properties, pressure and temperature factors, in order to achieve good cooling effects and economic benefits. During the selection process, the following factors should be considered: the nature of the cooling medium (viscosity, acidity, alkalinity, etc.), the corrosion resistance of the pipeline, the cooling effect (flow rate and temperature of the cooling water), and the convenience of maintenance.
According to the cooling method, it can be divided into the following categories:
1. Direct cooler: Cooling is achieved by directly injecting the cold medium into the kettle liquid, suitable for high temperature kettle liquid.
2. Indirect cooler: By exchanging heat between the cold medium and the kettle liquid through a heat exchanger, the cooling effect is achieved. It is suitable for kettle liquid with lower temperatures.
According to its structural form, it can be divided into the following categories:
1. Vertical cooler: Inject the cold medium from top to bottom, suitable for thicker kettle liquid.
2. Horizontal cooler: Passing the cold medium from one side to the other, suitable for clearer kettle liquid.
