According to the different spray methods, spray heat exchangers can also be divided into direct spray and indirect spray. Direct spray heat exchanger refers to the direct spraying of hot medium onto the cooling medium for heat transfer, while indirect spray heat exchanger refers to the indirect transfer of heat from the hot medium to the cooling medium through spray plates, spray pipes, etc.
Spray heat exchangers can be classified based on their structure and working principle, and common classifications include:
1. Spray tower type heat exchanger: The spray tower is used as the main structure of the heat exchanger. The hot medium is evenly sprayed on the inner wall of the tower through the spray device, while the cooling medium flows between the inner and outer walls of the tower to achieve heat transfer.
2. Spray chamber type heat exchanger: The heat exchanger is equipped with one or more spray chambers inside, and the hot medium transfers heat to the cooling medium through the spray chamber. The spray chamber can be circular, square, or other shapes.
3. Spray plate heat exchanger: The heat exchanger is equipped with multiple layers of spray plates inside. The hot medium is sprayed down from the upper spray plate, and the cooling medium flows upwards from the lower spray plate to achieve heat transfer.
4. Spray tube heat exchanger: There are multiple spray tubes inside the heat exchanger, and the hot medium is evenly sprayed on the pipe wall through the spray tube, while the cooling medium flows inside and outside the tube to achieve heat transfer.
