The first stage condenser of the recovery kettle is a device used in the chemical production process, mainly used to condense the steam generated in the recovery kettle into a liquid for easy recovery and reuse. According to its working principle and structural characteristics, it can be divided into the following categories:
1. Spiral plate condenser: This type of condenser consists of two spiral plates, where steam and coolant exchange heat between the spiral plates. The advantages of this type of condenser are high heat exchange efficiency and compact structure, but it is difficult to manufacture.
2. Direct contact condenser: This type of condenser directly contacts steam and cooling water for heat exchange. The advantage of this type of condenser is its extremely high heat exchange efficiency, but it needs to handle a mixture of steam and cooling water.
3. Air cooled condenser: This type of condenser uses air as a coolant and the heat is blown away by a fan. The advantage of this type of condenser is that it does not require additional cooling water and is suitable for use in areas with water scarcity.
