The classification of stirred reactors can be divided based on different parameters, including volume, material, stirring form, and heating method.
1. Volume classification: According to the volume size, stirred reactors can be divided into small stirred reactors, medium stirred reactors, and large stirred reactors. The choice of volume size depends on process requirements and production scale.
2. Material classification: According to the properties of the reaction medium and process requirements, the material of the stirring reactor can be stainless steel, carbon steel, fiberglass, titanium alloy, etc. Different materials have different corrosion resistance and pressure resistance.
3. Classification of stirring forms: According to different stirring methods, stirring reaction kettles can be divided into mechanical stirring reaction kettles and magnetic stirring reaction kettles. The mechanical stirring reaction kettle is stirred by a motor driven stirrer, suitable for reaction systems with high viscosity. The magnetic stirring reaction kettle uses magnetic force to drive the stirrer for stirring, which is suitable for reaction systems with high requirements for stirring speed and stirring force.
