The function of the high-level tank also includes replenishing evaporation and operational losses, nitrogen sealing, etc. In practical use, some high-level slots must be nitrogen sealed to prevent the heat transfer fluid from oxidizing due to contact with air. One of the functions of nitrogen sealing is to apply a certain pressure, maintain the operation of the liquid phase, and prevent oxidation of the heat transfer fluid. The design and operation of high-level tanks are crucial for controlling the oxidation of heat transfer fluids, such as by raising the position of expansion tanks and using small-diameter expansion tubes. If the initial boiling point of the heat transfer fluid is higher than the maximum operating temperature of the system, nitrogen sealing may not be used; On the contrary, if the initial boiling point of the heat transfer fluid is lower than the maximum operating temperature of the system, nitrogen sealing must be used to prevent pump cavitation and significant evaporation losses caused by partial component vaporization.
The material selection for the high-level groove is also very important.
