Working principle of falling film evaporator:
Falling film evaporation is the process of adding material and liquid from the heating chamber of the falling film evaporator to the pipe box, and evenly distributing it through the liquid distribution and film forming device to each heat exchange tube. Under the influence of gravity, vacuum induction, and airflow, it flows in a uniform film form from top to bottom. During the flow process, the steam is heated and vaporized by the shell side heating medium, and the generated steam enters the separation chamber of the evaporator together with the liquid phase. After sufficient separation of the vapor and liquid, the steam enters the condenser for condensation (single effect operation) or enters the next effect evaporator as the heating medium, thus achieving multi effect operation. The liquid phase is discharged from the separation chamber.
Classification of falling film evaporators:
Single effect falling film evaporator, multi effect falling film evaporator (double effect falling film evaporator, three effect falling film evaporator, four effect falling film evaporator, etc.), MVR falling film evaporator, plate type falling film evaporator, tube type falling film evaporator, etc.
