The working principle of a vacuum diversion tank is to use the pressure difference to empty the air inside the tank through a vacuum pump, forming a vacuum state. When the tank mouth sinks into the water, due to the vacuum inside the tank, the water will automatically enter the tank without the need for external forces to divert water. When the tank mouth is lifted above the water surface, due to the pressure difference, water will be adsorbed above the tank mouth, forming a water column.
The water flow control of the diversion tank is generally achieved by controlling the gate or valve. The degree of opening and closing of the gate determines the flow rate and velocity of water flow. When the gate is fully open, the speed of water flow through the diversion tank is the highest, and the flow rate is the highest. When the gate is closed, the speed and flow of water passing through the diversion tank will decrease. By adjusting the opening and closing degree of the gate, the water flow in the diversion tank can be flexibly controlled to meet the needs of different scenarios.
