Product Description

There are two kinds of high pressure reactor technologies: one is adiabatic  high pressure stirred reactor, and the other is tubular reactor with cooling medium jacket. The residence time of high pressure reactor is very short, which can be switched quickly between different reactor grades. The obtained polymer is in molten state. Due to the fresh feed stream and catalyst injection, both reactor technologies are cross flow operation. The polymer concentration increases continuously with the increase of reactor length, and the quality of resin can be guaranteed by proper operating temperature, which depends on the type of peroxide, which is based on its special decomposition temperature and reaction rate. In order to control the molecular weight, polar regulators or aliphatic hydrocarbons should be injected into the monomer flow.

High pressure hydrogenation reactor belongs to catalytic reactor, which can be divided into homogeneous or heterogeneous according to the nature of catalysis. If the catalyst does not form a separate phase separated from the reactants or products, the catalysis is called homogeneous. Homogeneous catalyst is dissolved in liquid and the reaction takes place in liquid phase. It is a technology for hydrocracking on oil soluble catalyst. If the catalyst forms a separate phase separated from the reactant, the catalysis is said to be heterogeneous. Most high pressure hydrogenation reacto are heterogeneous reactors.

What should be paid attention to in the design of high pressure hydrogenation reactor?
High temperature hydrogen corrosion
1.In material selection.
a) Properly select materials that can resist hydrogen corrosion, strictly based on the latest edition of Nelson curve;
b) Try to reduce the impurities (such as Sn, Sb) in steel that have adverse effects on hydrogen corrosion; c) The main materials shall be normalized (accelerated cooling is allowed)+tempered, and quenching is not allowed.
2.In heat treatment. The equipment must undergo post weld heat treatment.
3.In terms of operation guidance.
a) It is strictly forbidden to overheat the equipment;
b) Control the level of applied stress (do not increase or decrease the temperature sharply, increase or decrease the pressure).
